BioTek’s Scientific Director, Dr. Peter Banks, was recently named to the Scientific & Editorial Advisory Board of the premier biotech publication, Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News (GEN). In this role, Dr. Banks will offer key insights to aid the publication as it addresses the broad commercial trajectory of the international bioindustry.

Dr. Banks has been Scientific Director at BioTek Instruments since 2008, and holds both a B.Sc. in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of British Colombia. He is also affiliated with the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening, American Chemical Society, and the American Society for Mass Spectrometry.
