BioTek Instruments is pleased to announce that Mr. John Fiducia has accepted the position of Director of Global Service Operations at the company. In this position, Mr. Fiducia will be responsible for supporting all of BioTek’s customers and distribution partners in areas including service, technical support and technical training. “We aim to be service leaders within the laboratory instrumentation market, and a primary reason why customers choose to do business with BioTek,” noted Mr. Peter Weith, Vice President of Marketing and Sales. “John’s leadership and experience in both technical and support services are a natural fit for our growing operations.”

Commenting on his new position, Mr. Fiducia added, “Everything we do must have value for our customers – we can’t assume that their needs are being met. Instead, we must continually ask what is important and compare that to what we deliver. This should be an ongoing process, and how well we execute it will determine how our customers view us.”

Mr. Fiducia has over 20 years of wide ranging service experience in laboratory instrumentation and diagnostics, having spent 16 years with Abbott Laboratories. While there, he had a variety of assignments including District Service Manager, Customer Support Manager and IT Manager roles. His most recent position was with the medical instrumentation company Spacelabs Healthcare, where he was their Director of U.S. Support Services.
