Vermont Academy of Science and Engineering Honors BioTek Instruments, Inc. President with Prestigious Appointment

Alpert, who holds two degrees from University of Vermont, has been with BioTek Instruments, Inc. for over 20 years, and was appointed President in 2000. In addition to numerous technical contributions, he has assumed a leadership role in the growth of the company including management of intellectual property, corporate acquisitions and divestitures and implementation of strategic planning and technology transfer processes. Alpert is a member of the Mechanical Engineering Honor Society, and serves as a charter member and director of the Vermont Center for Emerging Technologies.
